Sisterhood events are at the heart of our core values statement -- to inspire exemplary women who are enriched by sisterhood and unconditional friendships -- and we have a variety of events each semester to live out this value. In the fall we love going to cider mills and pumpkin patches, we host a parents' weekend, spend time at the arboretum and cheer on Michigan's football team. In the colder months we go ice skating at Yost, go sledding, have holiday themed events, watch the Superbowl, and go to basketball and hockey games among other things. Second Avenue is AEPhi's national collegiate development program that promotes a well-rounded college experience. Each semester sisters participate in three programs that are both fun and educational. Examples include a Chocolate Passover Seder, CPR training, Pink Shabbat, a session on knowing your legal rights, krav maga, yoga and more. |
